2024 — PRESENT

Lunar Core Components RF / Comms Test Engineer III

Blue Origin — Lunar Lander MK1 program
  • Develop and approve avionics & RF comms test plans for flight hardware; lead acceptance and qualification test campaigns.
  • Test methodology for the MK1 high-gain antenna — the system that will stream telemetry and video from the Moon's South Pole.
  • Lead environmental campaigns: thermal vacuum, shock, vibration; design and verify custom automated test equipment (ATE).
  • Python-based test automation for hardware bring-up, diagnostics, and performance characterization; Git-based collaborative development.
  • Lead test readiness reviews and root cause analyses; clean-room flight hardware experience.
2023 — 2024

Sr. UAS RF & Communication Systems Engineer

A.I. Bot — AI-piloted eVTOL aircraft
  • Owned $3M+ of RF hardware and multi-link data-link architecture (ISM, LTE, C-Band satcom) across three aircraft platforms.
  • Built self-forming MANET over SDR for ultra-reliable low-latency comms — 300% data-link performance improvement.
  • Engineered triple-redundant ground control comms (Starlink + LTE + point-to-point) with Prometheus/Grafana — zero downtime.
  • EMC/EMI validation in anechoic chamber (TUV SUD) to FAA specifications; FCC/ITAR/MIL-STD-461 compliance.
2021 — 2023

RF Architect

Zayo Group — Denver, CO
  • Designed end-to-end private LTE/5G NSA/SA, DAS, and neutral-host solutions for Fortune 500 enterprises and universities.
  • Hands-on built and managed $24M+ of data centers and wireless labs across Denver, Atlanta, Dallas, and Las Vegas.
  • Supervised 5G system integration at 300+ locations nationwide; built Wi-Fi offload solutions for three major carriers.
  • Led vRAN/O-RAN and CBRS core vendor evaluations; CPI-certified CBSD registration and SAS spectrum management.
JUN — DEC 2021

RF Test Engineer — 5G/LTE

AT&T — CT, MA, ME, NJ
  • Launch testing for new 5G bands (n2, n5): drive test collection with Nemo & PCTEL, E911 validation, KPI analysis.
  • Post-processing and visualization in Nemo Analyze feeding directly into network optimization; trained incoming engineers.
2020 — 2021

RF Test Engineer — 5G/LTE RAN

T-Mobile — Midwest region (6 states)
  • Led a drive-test team through the T-Mobile/Sprint network merge — 20,000+ miles driven, coverage merged for 37M users.
  • 5G (n71, n41) and LTE multi-band data collection with TEMS; supervised engineers with offshore support coordination (+15% productivity).
2018 — 2019

Communications Laboratory Researcher II

Xi'an JiaoTong University — National Electromagnetic Laboratory
  • Developed and tested 16×16 beamforming and 64×64 massive-MIMO array algorithms in MATLAB/Simulink to 3GPP 5G NR standards.
  • Over-the-air SDR testing under real interference; MVDR beamforming and physical-layer security research; PCB prototyping in Altium.
  • Mentored undergraduate engineers and presented research at seminars.
2015 — 2016

RF Engineer

STC
  • LTE/UMTS/GSM RF planning and optimization in Atoll; coverage gap analysis, base station planning, and proposal engineering.
2013 — 2015

Fiber Optic R&D Engineer
